Salmon Flies for the Saranac River?

Question: I'm heading to the Adirondoacks in Oct. hopefully I'll be fortunate enough to hit the Salmon run on the Saranac. Any pattern suggestions would be appreciated. The Salmon I will be fishing for are landlocked Atlantic Salmon, not the Great Lakes Kings/Cohos. The major run is in October. I am hoping to get some specific pattern reccomendations.

Answer: My thoughts would be roe imitations or bright "enticer" patterns. If you do catch the run, which sounds pretty late to me, and they are up in the rivers, they aren't eating anything, but you can entice them or excite them into striking.
