Office dress code,?

Question: The office I work in has a relaxed dress code. Men in khakis and dress shirts, women in dress pants or a skirt and a nice blouse. Nothing in our policy says we HAVE to dress like this, but it is highly suggested. One girl who works in our office refuses to wear anything but jeans though. And not even nice jeans. They may be fashionable, but I feel jeans with rips and tears should never be worn in an office setting. My question is, wouldn't you feel uncomfortablle being the only one in an office of 30 people who dressed like this?

Answer: Not only would I feel uncomfortable but I'd wonder if I'd be taken seriously by my superiors. She may be making a huge mistake by not conforming to company policy.
