Shopping at the Fashion District?

Question: What are the brands? Are the styles for the 20 something year olds? Or are they just cheap tacky knock offs?

Answer: A little bit of everything, for everyone, every style and sex. There are a lot of knock offs, but a lot of them are high quality knock offs. A friend is into purses and found high quality current model knock offs for $15-25 a purse. You can find jeans from every brand, size, and style. If you need a belt, you can find amazing deals on leather belts ($5-15), and belt buckles ($5-10). These are the same that sell for $25+ at stores and the mall. Shirts can be found everywhere. Quality mens fashion dress shirts $10-20, Womens $5-20. You can also find lots of shoes in every style. Real Nike/Adidas $25 for $80 shoes. Womens dress shoes and boots $5-$30. btw Mens suits starting at $79 (jacket, pants, shirt, tie, cuff links, socks, belt). A friend got 4 suit sets (see above) for $300. Came back, and found one of the same suits for $300 itself. The local store want $60 extra for the shirt, tie, etc.... If you go, dont buy everything you first see. You will have a price shock when you first get there and want to buy every good deal when you first see it. Park at one end, and walk down the alley (where most of the best deals are), and then buy on your way back. Less to carry, and you know what place has the best price. On the outside street you will find some shoe stores with the best prices. A friend bought quality leather dress shoes to wear with his suit for $30, but got 3 different pairs for $60. Bring cash in $5, $10, and $20's. Try to keep it in different pockets so you don't pull out a wad of bills. I try to keep $20 in one pocket, and $15 in another, in my other 2 pockets I keep $60-100 in each. You can talk down the prices at most shops, and keeping your money in different pocket will help you achieve this. Go with friends and try to buy at the same time, ie you all want something from a vender or buy multiple items yourself. So the shirts say $15 each, there are 4 of you, and you each want a shirt. Pull out the $40 that you have in one pocket, or you each pull out $10, and say thats all you have. 9 out of 10 times you will get a good discount. Some wont discount at all, but many will. Dont go to crazy with the discount, $100 worth of good for $20. BUT taking a 1/3 or 1/4 off is a good start. Its better if an item is an odd number and you round down. Say $7 x 5 items, all I have is $30. You will find anything and everything there, just keep your eyes open, and be willing to bargin with people. I hope this helps, and dont forget to try the bacon wrapped hot dogs.... they are to die for
